Where we are

Le Marche, tucked between the Apennines and the sea, is one of the greenest, prettiest and most civilized corners of Italy, with lovely art towns like Ascoli Piceno, lots of beaches, art and old brick towns in the valley that lead up to the impressive snowy peaks of the Sibillini Mountains, one of the highest sections of the Apennines.

For those with a fatal attraction towards central Italy, the Marches are the new frontier: new emerald landscapes and hill towns, new discoveries at the table, new surprises from art and fewer tourists to share them with. People are very friendly to visitors.

We are in Southern Marche, "il Piceno", a few minutes by car from the sandy beaches of San Benedetto del Tronto and from the Sibillini Mountains.

Acquaviva Picena is a charming medieval hilltop village.

Ascoli Piceno is about 20 minutes by car.
